Privacy Policy for Video Speed Editor
Effective Date: 17-10-2026
This privacy policy applies to the Video Speed Editor app (hereby referred to as "Application") for mobile devices that was created by TechXcel Dev.(hereby referred to as "Service Provider") as a Free service. This service is intended for use "AS IS".
1. Information Collection and Use
The Application collects and processes certain information when you download and use it.
Local Video Processing
The core functionality of the Application allows you to edit the speed of your video files. All video processing is performed entirely on your device. The Application does not upload, store, or transmit your personal videos to our servers or any third-party servers. Your media remains strictly on your device.
Automatically Collected Information
For the Application to function smoothly and be provided as a free service, the Service Provider uses third-party services that may collect information automatically. This may include:
•Your device's Internet Protocol (IP) address.
•Device characteristics (such as operating system, hardware model, and device ID/Advertising ID).
•App usage data (such as the features you use and the time spent on the app).
•Crash logs and performance data to help diagnose and fix bugs.
2. Third-Party Services
The Application uses third-party services that may collect information used to identify you, provide analytics, and serve advertisements.

•Google Play Services
•Google AdMob
•Google Analytics for Firebase
•Firebase Crashlytics
Advertising (AdMob)
We use Google AdMob to display advertisements within the Application. AdMob may use advertising identifiers (like the Android Advertising ID) and cookies to serve ads that are relevant to your interests. Depending on your region (e.g., EEA/UK), you may be prompted by a consent form (via the User Messaging Platform) to agree to personalized ads when you first open the app.
Analytics and Crash Reporting
We use Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics to understand how users interact with the app and to monitor stability. If the app crashes, Crashlytics securely sends a crash report to the Service Provider. This report contains device details and code traces that led to the crash, which helps us fix bugs quickly.
3. App Permissions
To function correctly, the Application requires the following permissions on your device:
•Storage / Media Access: Required to read the videos you select for editing and to save the processed videos back to your device's gallery.
•Network Access / Internet: Required to load advertisements, send anonymous crash reports, and transmit analytics data.
•Notifications: Required to notify you locally when a video export/processing task is running in the background and when it is successfully completed.
4. Opt-Out Rights
You can stop all future collection of information by the Application easily by uninstalling it. You may use the standard uninstall processes available as part of your mobile device or via the mobile application marketplace.
For advertising, you can opt out of personalized ads by adjusting the "Ads" settings within your Android device settings.
5. Security
The Service Provider is concerned about safeguarding the confidentiality of your information. The Application relies entirely on local processing for your media content, eliminating the risk of data breaches associated with cloud processing. For analytics and crash reporting, we rely on Google's highly secure Firebase infrastructure.
6. Children's Privacy
The Application does not address anyone under the age of 13. The Service Provider does not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13 years of age. In the case the Service Provider discovers that a child under 13 has provided personal information, the Service Provider will immediately delete this from their servers. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your child has provided us with personal information, please contact the Service Provider so that necessary actions can be taken.
7. Changes to This Privacy Policy
The Service Provider may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Thus, you are advised to review this page periodically for any changes. The Service Provider will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page.
These changes are effective immediately after they are posted.
8. Contact Us
If you have any questions or suggestions about this Privacy Policy, do not hesitate to contact the Service Provider at: techxcelsp@gmail.com
